Founding Partner, Ballow & Lynde PLLC
Barry Ballow isn’t just a Bucks County attorney. He’s a Bucks County native whose roots in the community run generations deep. Barry grew up in Bristol, where his family operated Ballow’s Shoes at 308 Mill Street, a beloved local institution that served the community for decades. It was there, watching his family build lasting relationships one customer at a time, that Barry first learned the value of the personal touch - a principle that has guided his legal career ever since.
A proud graduate of Delhaas High School in Bristol, Barry launched his legal career in the 1970s, quickly establishing himself as a trusted advocate in Bucks County. He earned the confidence of clients and colleagues alike, serving as a partner at Jackson, Bortner and Ballow in Fairless Hills before founding his own firm in 1978. Over the decades, the firm grew to include a team of seven full-time attorneys handling a broad range of legal matters for individuals, families, and businesses throughout the region.
Barry has prepared hundreds of wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. He has successfully probated hundreds of estates before the Bucks County Register of Wills, working closely with executors, trustees, and beneficiaries to ensure proper and efficient administration. His expertise in estate planning and administration gives clients the peace of mind that comes from knowing their affairs are handled by someone who truly understands the complexities of Bucks County probate practice.
Barry’s commitment to the legal profession extends well beyond his own practice. He has served in leadership positions within the Bucks County Bar Association, including as Chairman of the Fee Disputes Committee, and has contributed to numerous other bar association committees over the years. He has also served as Solicitor to the Bucks County Prothonotary and has been active in Bucks County’s business community, including involvement in significant real estate development projects in Falls Township.
In 2019, Barry relocated his office to the historic Delhaas High School building in Bristol, PA, now known as the Bucks County Office Center. In a fitting full-circle moment, the firm is located in the very halls where his journey began. This ADA-accessible location provides clients with convenient access and a welcoming environment.
Barry believes in providing straightforward counsel grounded in decades of Bucks County experience. He knows the local courts, the judges, the practitioners, and the community. Most importantly, he knows that the best legal relationships are built on candor and trust. Barry will tell you the truth about your situation, even if it’s not what you want to hear, because his job is to help you make the best decisions for your family and business.
