Marc Lynde
Partner, Ballow & Lynde PLLC
University of Wisconsin-Madison
Background
Marc grew up in Lower Makefield and attended George School, where his maternal grandfather, Dr. William L. Goldfarb, operated a podiatry practice on Mill Street in Bristol. After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Marc went on to earn his law degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University.
Marc spent several years litigating at major firms in New York City and Philadelphia. He began at Pasternack Tilker Ziegler Walsh Stanton & Romano, one of the largest workers’ compensation firms in the United States, where he represented hundreds of injured workers at hearings and trials before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board. He then practiced insurance defense and commercial litigation at Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin and Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck.
In 2019, Marc returned to Bucks County, where he grew up. In 2022, he joined Barry Ballow at the Veterans Highway office. In 2026, Marc and Barry formed Ballow & Lynde PLLC, combining Barry’s deep local knowledge and estate planning depth with Marc’s litigation experience and practice in real estate, business law, and elder law.
Legal Experience & Perspective
That litigation background gives Marc a perspective most estate planning and real estate attorneys lack: he has seen what goes wrong when documents are drafted carelessly. He drafts to anticipate disputes before they arise, which means fewer problems for his clients down the road.
Marc is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New York, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. The New York license matters in practice: families settling a Pennsylvania estate with New York property, or the estate of a New York decedent, do not need two lawyers. He provides candid legal advice and honest assessments, which sometimes means telling clients they do not need as much legal work as they think they do.
