Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 13, 2026

Ballow & Lynde PLLC ("we," "our," or "the firm") operates lawyermarc.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this website, how we use it, and your choices.

Information We Collect

Information you provide. When you submit a contact form, request a consultation, or use the footer case-evaluation form, you voluntarily provide your name, email address, and a description of your legal situation. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry. Submitting a form does not create an attorney-client relationship.

Automatically collected information. Like most websites, our server logs record basic technical data when you visit. Your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. We use this information to understand how the site is used and to diagnose technical issues.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to respond to your inquiries, improve the website, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

Form submissions. Contact and case-evaluation forms are processed through Web3Forms, a third-party form handling service. When you submit a form, your information is transmitted through their servers to deliver it to us. Their privacy policy governs their handling of that data. This includes our estate-planning intake questionnaire, which asks more detailed questions to prepare for your consultation, including family circumstances such as children, blended families, and special-needs dependents, and financial circumstances such as real estate and business ownership.

Fonts. This site's typefaces are hosted locally on our own server, not loaded from Google Fonts or any other third-party font service. Requesting a page font does not send any information to Google or another third party.

Interactive tools. Our calculators, quiz, deadline checker, and estate-planning intake questionnaire pages load software libraries from cdnjs, a third-party content delivery network operated by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may collect technical data, including your IP address, when these libraries are requested. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

Scheduling. Our online scheduling tool sends the information you enter (name, email, phone, practice area, and a description of your situation) to Google Apps Script, a Google service we use to manage available appointment times and process bookings. This is separate from the Web3Forms service used for the contact and case-evaluation forms. Google's use of this data is governed by Google's privacy policy.

Analytics and advertising. We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads. See the Analytics section below for full details.

Cookies and Tracking Choice

This site loads Google's tag library (gtag.js) on every page so that your analytics and advertising choice can be recorded and honored. Until you accept tracking through the cookie banner shown on your first visit, this site does not set any Google Analytics or Google Ads cookies and does not collect or use any personal or advertising data. If you decline, or if you have not yet made a choice, the tag library sends Google only a minimal, anonymous signal recording that tracking has been declined, so your choice is honored on later pages and visits. That signal contains no cookie, no personal identifier, and is not used for analytics or advertising. If you accept, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads (see below) begin operating for that and future visits, until you clear your browser's local storage or change your choice.

Analytics

If you accept tracking, this website sends pageview data (the page URL, page title, referrer, screen size, and browser language) to Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-WLDMNWNG1D) to understand how the site is used, for example, which pages are visited most and how visitors find the site.

To maintain consistent analytics across visits, Google Analytics 4 stores an anonymous, randomly generated identifier in a first-party cookie on your browser, along with a separate session cookie. These are not shared with advertisers. You can clear them at any time through your browser settings. Google's use of the data it receives is governed by Google's privacy policy .

Advertising

If you accept tracking, this site also uses Google Ads (conversion ID AW-1019674140) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, for example, whether a visitor who arrived from an ad went on to submit a contact or scheduling form. Google's use of this data is governed by Google's privacy policy .

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you provide. However, no internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

External Links

This site contains links to external websites; courts, government agencies, and legal resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

No Attorney-Client Relationship

Using this website or submitting a form does not create an attorney-client relationship. Do not send confidential information through this website. This firm does not undertake representation without a signed engagement letter.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
